A Blow Dry Bar

A concept I like these days: Blow Dry Bars.  Imagine its Friday, you get off work and you want to look your best as you take advantage of your free time but you just don’t feel like putting in the work.  I think we have all been there and now there is a great solution, blow dry bars!  What is a blow dry bar?  Well its as simple as it sounds, a place to go to have your hair done however you want.  Several have a great set rates i.e. buy four and the fifth is free.  Another perk, most offer a yummy cocktail or wine to enjoy while you’re getting glammed up! This concept was introduced to me in Dallas at Lure Salon in West Village.  A pack of four will cost you $125 and there are four suggested options for your session plus a signature cocktail included each time!  Lure’s Blow Dry Bar is creating a lot of buzz around town so I did some web surfing and learned that this concept is blowing up (ha) all over the US!  Here are a few places I came across (for Non-Dallasites) so take a look, try it out, pre-party while someone else makes you look good one night!
